Taylor Properties was founded in 1979 as Taylor Realty, we began with humble roots in Talbot, Dorchester, and Caroline Counties. Today, we are proud to be the largest locally owned independent real estate brokerage in Maryland. In 1985, Robb Taylor was convinced that real estate brokerages could not continue taking the majority of their agents' hard-earned commissions. He decided to provide an agent-focused real estate brokerage model that gave more commission to real estate agents while also giving them more flexibility in their careers. Taylor Properties is one of the first real estate brokerages of its kind in the Maryland area with a 100% commission business model.
